Fighting for Glory Future——Sunway Sales Meeting 2017

Time flies, it is again, the golden October, another harvest season. It is again the Sunway annual sales meeting. From Oct 13th to 16th, all the best sales persons, all the Sr. management team from headquarter, subsidiaries meet up in the same place. Review the achievement of 2016 and look forward for not only 2017 but also directions for future. The more times we meet the heavier burden we feel on our shoulders. The more times we recall the higher unbelievable achievement we found. It is the same meeting as every year, but the taste of the life is mixed of bitter, sour, sweet and spicy. Nevertheless, we are step by step, going forward, both people and the company.


Just like those past days, the growth of Sunway business is tangible from the increasing people who involved sales meeting. Peter Peng, President and CEO of Sunway, said in humor:” I always planned to hold sales meeting in Hainan but seems like people involved this time is far above the max volume where I booked.” Sr. management from head quarter and each business unit was involved this meeting, All of attendees could feel the expectation, eager for new technologies and requirements for future development and production from our sales persons and customers. All sales persons from Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Taipei, Suwon, Stockholm and Cupertino are very happy to attend this great Sunway annual event.


Dr. Wilson Wu, SVP of Sunway, made an opening speech in the first day of meeting. He firstly analyzed Sunway’s focus markets, challenges that we are facing and competitions, then summarized achievements of 2016 and expectation and requirement of business in 2017. Dr. Wu also introduced strategic planning of future development, which Sunway has achieved continuously both YOY and QOQ (quarter-over-quarter) growth for more than 10 quarters. It is extremely important for Sunway to plan for next step of development since challenges and chances facing by Sunway are never ever happened before.


In the rest two days, each KAM (Key Account Managers) reviewed and looked forward for their business in charge. GW customer’s business huge increased; business volume of Chinese customer has taking big role in our business ratio, which still be put in “others” last year. So CN sales team deserve to get the sales annual award. Although our Korean customer is suffering a tough situation, we still made a remarkable increase in our Korean business, we realize technology and customer qualification of NFC combo antenna. Korean team rewarded the sales award; and it is cheerful to show everyone that Sunway made a multiple level increase in business volume of TJ customer. TJ team has won the awarded in annual sales meeting. All the sales person has rush into 2017 working schedule, fighting for 2017 business volume, although it is still autumn, 2016 for now. We can see the challenge is tough in 2017 through the chances getting by sales person, we have chance to realize our double volume sales plan in 2017, base on hardness working and effort of every colleague in Sunway.


The fast and multiple level increase of business is cannot be separated from great foresight of group leadership. Sunway Top Management has layout distribution in multiple areas for future development: we have Sunway microelectronic technique to get ready for the next wave impact in microelectronic area; we have VR/AR investment in future business area, which will bring Sunway into a new stage in next five or ten years, to realize continuable, long-term business development; technique development in IoT and 5G will bring new chances for our RF-technique business, EMC, antenna and connector business. Sunway traditional products can also find more new application within this market condition.

Members of Sunway should be courageous to take more responsibility and challenge higher goal. If a company wants to be bigger, stronger and better, it has to capable to condense the power of every colleague; this power is used by all partners, managers and colleagues within this corporate culture; top management of group establish the develop directions, partners turn directions into guidance, managers work together with basic staff following the guidance, this is precipitate of our corporate culture. There is still a long way to go for Sunway to become a hundred year enterprise, our corporate culture needs to heritage to the younger generation, to make Sunway as a world-class, respected enterprise. Peter has shown the directions of development, put forward the request, inspires the confidence of all the participants, and let’s go with full energy and attitude to welcome the glory 2017!
